COVID-19 SAFE Coronavirus Company Policy

 
As you may know the covid-19 virus is attacking the uk and getting worse. The number of people with the virus is increasing greatly day by day. 
 
The uk Government is providing day to day updates for people and businesses via mainstream media.
 
Based on these updates we as a company and as individual and families have implemented a plan to reduce the risk of infection with the aim of safeguarding you the customer and our staff and families.
 
The work that we do means in most cases we need to visit your premises where there are others that may or may not be affected by Covid-19.
 
Our aim as a service company is to thoughtfully and safely continue to provide services to you and to be recognised as a company that safeguards its customer's businesses and those who work within them.
 
From now on and until further notice we will be operating a COVID-19 SAFE company policy.
 
The guidelines for this company policy are as follows:
 
All of our staff will avoid any physical contact with other people in all circumstances.
 

Personal Protection Equipment

Gloves
Fresh disposable gloves will be worn at all times each visit to any of our customer locations. This will be as long as it is safe to do so. I.e. it may not be safe to use rubber gloves while brazing.
 
All surfaces touched during a visit by us will be wiped with antibacterial wipes immediately after the surface is made available again to you and is likely to be touched by your staff and other people within your business within 3 hours. 
 
Masks
Masks will be issued to all of our staff. We are recommending our staff to wear a mask when they are in a place where there are many people in close physical contact to them and contact can not be avoid.
 
Whenever possible our staff will keep 1 meter away from other people.
 

Services Vehicles & Tools

Steering wheels, gear knobs, indicator and other steering control switches, seat belts, dash screens, buttons and handles and all tools our engineers use will be wiped each time before and after visiting you the customer.
 

Job Sheets

You will not be required to touch screen to give a signature. Instead we will write the word covid-19 in the relevant signature boxes.
 
Your paperwork that you may need us to complete will only be done while our staff are wearing fresh disposable gloves that are changed after the work has been completed.
 

Suppliers

During visits we make to suppliers for parts and equipment our staff will wear gloves. Any surfaces of parts or equipment that we collected or returned to the supplier will be wiped. These surfaces will be where the Covid-19 virus could survive for 2-3 hours on the surface. Our staff will avoid contact with other people during their visits to suppliers.
 

Self Isolation

Any of our staff that display the symptoms of covid-19 virus will be advised to self isolate themselves and anyone in the household for 14 days.

The Company

The company will continue to provide services as normal; operating under the policy until we are requested or advised to do differently by authorities.
 

Social Distancing 

Our staff our being advised to follow Government advice regarding social distancing. This is generally avoiding being in all places where there is a higher risk of contracting covid-19.

We are recommending our staff to keep socially active digitally using Facetime, Whatsapp video calls and other apps as a safe way to keeping socially closer to others.

Terms of Sale for Installs

What's included in the cost of the install?

  • Removing the refrigerant gas from your old air conditioner if you have one and then removing the old system.
  • Installing your new air conditioning system equipment, which includes mounting the indoor unit and the outdoor inverter unit.
  • Running, brazing, insulating, and fixing the refrigerant pipework to connect your new equipment.
  • Wiring up the indoor unit to the outdoor unit.
  • Connecting your new air conditioning system to an electrical supply.
  • Plumbing the waste condensate water outlet of your new air conditioner.

Cost includes everything apart from the power supply from the mains board o the new air conditioning system.

How much warranty comes with my new air conditioning?

  • The equipment comes with 5 years manufacturers parts warranty*
  • The installation has a 5 year Airconology breakdown labour warranty*

You'll need to have your air conditioning maintained each year to get the warranty from the manufacturer.

What type of air conditioning system will I get?

  • A purposely designed and made air conditioning system that does both heating and cooling, from one of the leading manufacturers of air conditioning, such as Mitsubishi, Daikin, Fujitsu and Samsung.
  • Remote control adjustment for setting the desired temperature, on/off times and blow speed.
  • An outdoor condensing unit that is low noise to comply with residential noise level regulations.
  • A high speed low noise indoor air handler to circulate air evenly around the room(s).
  • Non corrosive casings outside and stylish casings inside.
  • Compact and space saving.

We only install reputable, recognised brands from leading manufacturers.

What power supply do I need for my air conditioning system?

The power supply required ranges between 16Amps to 60Amps, single phase or three phase supply and must be within 6m of the location where the outdoor unit is mounted.

* Mains/fuse board power supply installation is available at an additional cost.

Do I need to supply drainage?

No

Wall mounted aircon drainage needs to be within 6m from the indoor air handler. When drainage is further than 6m or unavailable for wall mounted aircon then we can offer the optional extra of a condensate pump that will pump the condensation water outside the building up to 15m away. Longer distances for drainage aren't a problem just ask us.

Ceiling cassette aircon  includes a condensate drain pump which can drain upto 15m away. Longer distances for drainage aren't a problem just ask us. 

What's the limit on the distance for the air conditioning pipework?

The online price quoted is for installation of pipwork up to 15m in distance from the indoor to the outdoor unit. Longer pipe runs aren't a problem just let us know.

What is the air conditioner capacity for people and equipment in the room?

The room sizes and the air conditioner kW capacity provided by the calculator are based on an average, we always advise that you tell us what capacities you require when you send us your detials or when you speak to us by phone.
